The human body, at its peak physical form, is one of the most beautiful things on this earth. The way that the tallest mountains inspire awe, the deepest forests inspire wonder, the pinnacle of human fitness stands among them.

Look back at the Greeks and Romans. They understood what we have lost sight of. Some of the most celebrated pieces of art were inspired by the human form. Not only by the physical prowess, but the idea that the body is an extension of the mind. To reach your physical peak you must be able to harness the mentality that can take you there. When you look at The David, you aren’t merely looking at a beautiful sculpture of a human being. The awe you feel is because you realize the power that is represented therein.

The power of the human will to mold the body into a reflection of the intellect. To command itself to take the form for which it was meant. This is the true goal. The mirroring of the psyche in the physical manifestation. The reason we are attracted to others who are in shape is not purely aesthetic. We understand subconsciously the dedication it took to reach that point. The formation of the goal, the dream of what they could become if they committed to achieving it. This is what is truly attractive. The ability to create what you want in the world, where so many of us seem to have lost that power.

Modernity has turned us from creators into consumers. We want things handed to us, done for us, created for our pleasure. We are losing the ability to pursue the greatest pleasure of all. The power of creation. The magnitude of the human will’s ability to shape the world. We start with ourselves, and eventually we move beyond the barriers of our body.

It starts with the mind. It begins to take every experience and discern how it was created, who holds that power, how did they do it. Everything is a learning experience. Every failure points you closer to the right direction and every success shows you how far you have come. Eventually the body has no choice but to follow the mind. There is too much cognitive dissonance to be able to create beautiful thoughts and to house them in a broken temple. The building process begins slowly, unnoticed, until suddenly we realize the potential. We understand that this is the natural succession of the move we have initiated intellectually. Every time you exercise the muscles that have grown complacent you exert your will on the resistant forces of malaise, of sloth. Ultimately you overcome them. Your body is just an extension of your mind, and your mind is powerful, and becoming more so every day.

Human beings are beautiful. You are beautiful. Exert your will on the world around you. Feel the power of creation and know that it is what you are born to do. Be as powerful as you were meant to be.
